Personal information: Before I share my personal experiences, a brief digression on the subject of borders: since there is a bridge between Sweden and Denmark, one could certainly call Sweden a border region of Denmark. Furthermore, in Greenland, there is apparently a border with Canada via the island of Hans. But I stick to the official version that there is only one national border, that with Germany. Denmark remains very ambivalent in my memory: terrible customer service representatives in Nordborg who always insisted on their meeting on Monday, even though it cost me the entire Sunday to get there (unpaid!). An extremely dim-witted project manager from Iceland was causing trouble there... Terrible! But now for the pleasant side: the town of Sonderborg is a little gem, and the stops in Copenhagen before or after my onward journey were always a pleasure. Although there are no photos, I also entered Denmark in 2023 on the return trip from Norway (via Sweden) and in 2024 on the way to Sweden and back. Conclusion: With a little hygge, as long as you don't board a submarine, Denmark is absolutely sexy! |
