  Personal information:
I've been to Croatia twice so far, both times in the winter. In 2013, at the turn of the year, I enjoyed Pula: beautiful landscapes, delicious food, friendly people, and no parking problems. The sunshine and pleasant temperatures on New Year's Eve remain etched in my memory, as does Hum, probably the smallest town (not praline) in the world!

After a fantastic 2013, I started my big Balkan tour in the winter in 2018 and traveled through Croatia to other countries. Zagreb at Christmastime is simply fantastic; you have to see it for yourself. On the way back, I stopped in Split and celebrated New Year's Eve.

I would visit Croatia again without hesitation!

I've never seen a "Game of Thrones" episode myself, but I know many fans of the show, so I chose Dubrovnik's Lovrijenac Fortress as my country image...
