Official information: Malta is an island (along with a few other islands) and an island nation located in the far south of Europe, between Tunisia and Italy. Malta has half a million inhabitants and an area of only about 316 km², making it the sixth most densely populated country in the world. With an average elevation of 127 meters, Malta would rank between 145th and 146th, but it is not listed on Wikipedia. Its lowest point is at sea level and its highest at 253 meters. |
