  Personal information:
I visited the Romanian capital, Bucharest, on a short vacation. It's a small but beautiful capital with great restaurants and clubs. The Romanians are very hospitable, and my work colleague and her husband insisted on treating me to one of the best restaurants. As part of our excursions, we also visited the so-called Castle of Count Dracula (it's quite touristy; it's highly unlikely that Vlad ever stayed there). After that, I traveled to Timișoara (German: Temeswar, also Temeschwar, or, in the old days, Temeschburg) twice for work. The former European Capital of Culture is a gem! Great architecture, a beautiful city center, and a multitude of restaurants offering high-quality culinary delights. My experiences were consistently positive and I would travel to Romania again without hesitation.
